ordered three cods and a couple portions of chips with mushy peas for me and my family, food was absolutely amazing. the cod was so delicious and the batter was nice and crispy, and not heavy. the chips were tasty as well as the mushy peas. overall, the food wasn’t too greasy and was excellent. will be ordering again, thank you!

Great food and staff, they need to sort out their ordering options on a Friday. I couldn't order over the phone. But travelled to order over the counter. Just to see uber eats and the likes lining up.

Recommend!! Takeaway, download the app, better pricing and fast delivery. We are staying local at a hotel, got delivery to the hotel and the service was fantastic. Food was also top notch, we ordered the jumbo fish and large chips, king prawns in batter with sides, all were cooked perfectly. If we are ever in the area again we will use but if you’re visiting we recommend this place. Keep up the good work

Children and staff at Nevill Road Junior School would like to thank everyone at Whittaker's for another amazing fish & chips treat! It's a big order and they get it right every year and the food arrives nice warm. Totally recommend them.

Without doubt the best Fish and Chip shop for miles. The staff are always polite, it's clean and tidy inside and serving excellent food, great portion sizes and reasonable prices. It's the only Fish and Chip shop to come close to Kongs in Hyde which closed in 2024

Best chippy around. Everything always freshly cooked. Staff are always warm and friendly. Excellent service and the food is delicious Delivery service was speedy too.
